Barbara EngelsmannI was born on 25 June, 1975 in Stuttgart, Germany, and I am descended from a European/Asian family.

At 8 years old I started as most girls to ride horses. At about 4 years of age ride horses I started diving and Karate, and did it for around 8 years. Through my girlfriends I started with fitness, and last but not least I stopped there.

I think it was a good decision. Competing was an idea of friends of mine, and now I am still doing it and I am happy about it. I think it doesn't matter that kind of sport you do, but one, in fact, sport is good for your body for your self-assurance, for you mentally and gives you equalization.
