I
am originally from Michigan, but moved to New York City to finish my masters degree
in Clinical Nutrition and Dance. I always wanted to do something that would get
the attention of others, whether dance, sing, or act.
I fell
in love with weight training when I was nineteen years old and never looked back.
When I won my first natural bodybuilding competition in 1998, I was hooked. It
would be two years later before I entered my first NPC National Bodybuilding competition
which was held in New York City in the year 2000.

I
plaved a respectable 6th place out of a very competitive 38 women. Over the course
of the next four years I went on to win the NPC USAs Twice as a heavyweight and
in the year 2004 accomplished the impossible.
I won the Team
Universe HW qualifying me to compete at the WORLD UNIVERSE Bodybuilding competition
held in Barcelona, Spain. Prior to that competition, I decided to try my luck
at the North American held just two weeks prior. I actually won ! the lightheavyweight
competition and won the overall, turning me professional.
Then,
I travelled across the glode to be the only female bodybuilder from the United
States to win the overall at the World Amature Championships. The last American
to win the World Universe was Peggy Schoolcraft, some 10 years prior.
I
am a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator. I also have a minor
in dance and develop websites. I currently do online nutrition services, contest
preparation, choreography for posing routines, and website developement. You can
