I
have been an athlete all my life. I have been married for 13 years and my husband
has always been tremendously supportive of all my sporting passions.
I
started competing this year (2004) after having been forced off the soccer field
due to knee injuries and the droning of doctors requesting to replace what I consider
a fully functional knee joint.
I have always trained but it
wasn’t until I focused on it and used it to rehabilitate my knee injuries
did I learn so much about the SCULPT. Serious focus has always opened the door
to overcoming the greatest challenges in my life. It will reign true for my career
in Figure as well.
I praise the visionaries for opening the
floor to figure competition. They have given recognition to the female athletes
who train equally as hard but cannot physically take the stresses of fitness routines
nor compete with the sheer size of female bodybuilders as natural athletes.
