Like
most competitors I have a very athletic background. I received a college
scholarship for basketball, indoor/outdoor track and field and cross
country. While in college I earned a BS degree in Biology and worked
as a Cytogenetic Technologist before I had my children.

I am a Mother of two great kids. A 9 year old daughter
and an 8 year old son. I've been married to the most amazing guy for
12 years. He's an anesthesiologist which allows me to be a stay-home
Mom. He is also a bodybuilder. We met in a gym!
I began fitness modeling about 5 years ago and was published
quite a bit in MuscleMag, American Curves, Fitbeauties, and just this
month have a 5 page layout in the MuscleMag published in Mexico. I am
also featured on several fitness sites. I've been working at the Arnold
Classic Expo for the last 5 years for several different companies and
will be there again in 2006 at the Prosource booth.
My competitive career started in 2003 as a lightweight
bodybuilder. I won the Overall title at the Michigan Novice Championship.
I really enjoyed bodybuilding, but knew my physique was better suited
for Figure.
This has been a fantastic year for me as I became an IFBB
Pro in Figure class A. I earned my pro card in only my 3rd National
level show!!
My contest History:
- 2005 NPC Figure Nationals- 2nd in class A, (earned IFBB Pro status)
- 2005 NPC Junior Nationals- 3rd in class A
- 2005 NPC junior USA's- 3rd in class A
- 2004 NPC Central States Figure Championships- Overall Title (national
qualifier)
- 2003 NPC Michigan Novice Bodybuilding Championships- 1st lightweight
division and Overall Title
My future plans are to compete as a pro in 2006. I know
it's a whole new ball game but I'm looking forward to the challenge
and the opportunity.
