Karla
Adams is an ACSM
certified personal trainer with one of the largest personal training businesses
in Riverside, CA. She has been a personal trainer in Riverside for over 9 years
and has had her own business for over 3 ½ years. She is dedicated and motivated
to the results of her clients. She has worked with a lot of people on lifestyle
and weight loss programs, competitive athletes for 5K, 10K, half marathons and
full marathons, gaining muscle, health, wellness and fitness figure competition.

Being a runner for the past 10 years, Karla
has ran and placed in many 5K, 10K, half marathons and full marathons. From 2004-2005
she was a sponsored athlete by Active.com,
Entergice and SOF
Sol foot inserts. In 2004 and 2005 Karla was an invited athlete to Sendai
Japan as an ambassador of Riverside City to participate in the Sendai
Half Marathon. In 2006 and 2007 she will be leading a male and female runner
to compete in the Sendai Half marathon. Sendai, Japan and Riverside city have
the longest Sister City relationships in the Nation; Karla is also the Chair of
the Sendai Committee.
She has also been the featured guest
speaker at the Las Vegas Marathon Expo in December of 2007, as well as The
Loper Club running club (on many occasions from 2003-2007), North High School
Health class 2006 and Church of Religious Science Health Fare 2006.
Karla
is currently part of the Loma Linda Lopers running club which happens to be the
second largest running club in California; The Loper's train for the LA Marathon

Karla's Corner is a featured column in the Loper Gram which she has been
a part of for the last few years; writing on various health and fitness subjects
related to long distance running. She has also written several other health

Karla has been interviewed
by KCSB
TV for her preparation of the Highland Half Marathon, where she placed 1st
over all female in that race. She has been on the show Wild World of Spike that
has aired on Spike
TV Feb 5, 2007. She was carrying 165lb. pro-kick boxer Kit Kope across an
obstacle course on Malibu Beach racing against two other very fit females. Karla
has also been interviewed by Bob Bishop from the IRC, Charter TV on the development

The Riverside
Sister City Half Marathon is a race that Karla has been working on for the
past 3 years; a race that is not only healthy and fun to do, but also brings the
culture of our sister cities together.
This year, Karla will
be working with Riverside Community College on creating work out videos for the
colleges educational channel KRCC. This will include 13 half hour episodes
of upper and lower body workouts that will be aired daily. Working continually
on her fitness education, Karla will also have a featured profile in the April
2007 edition of Inland
Empire magazine. Always working on the improvement of her online training
system, Karla updates the information on her website regularly; a new Q&A
chat section where you can post your questions and have them answered by Karla
