Hello, my name is Malea Ann Jensen. I was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, but moved numerous times before settling in Spencer, Iowa, where my dad raised my brother and me.

It was in the small town of Spencer that my dad bred one fine young lady. I am not on an ego trip, either. My dad made me who I am today--honest, hard-working, simple, and driven with the burning desire to succeed. How else could you explain my being a four-sport athlete in high school, a three-sport athlete in college, as well as graduating with top honors in high school, college, and medical school?

Tell me I am not driven and I will prove to you I am all action. I will earn your respect. Attending medical school after graduating from Wartburg College, started with a dream from my dad, but eventually became the greatest dream and achievement of my life. "We" did it together--my dad and I. He got me through some real tough times, but I kept clawing like an alley cat to get to the top. I was not backing down despite so many naysayers.

Isn't that how it always is......someone sees you as a threat,so they try to bring you down to their level? Stand strong, I say! Never let anyone shatter your dreams! I didn't! I am still proving it today as a bodybuilder and as a family practice physician. I love what I do. I am "Dr. J" how can I help you?

As for bodybuilding--show me a muscular body and I am in awe! I love the look of rippling muscles and veins--always have......from Tonya Knight to Shawn Ray. I have this vision of what I want my body to look like and I get after it every day in the gym. I won't stop till I achieve my dream. It may take years, but I am having fun with the process.
