Melissa ShafferI am 37 and I am training for my first figure competition.

I work as a nurse and I am taking classes to finish my RN then to get my Nurse Practitoner degree and then plan to open my own weight loss clinic.

I love the fitness industry and hope to be able to help people in this way.

My hobbies include horseback riding. I enjoy competing in horse shows. I clog on a clogging team and enjoy the shows we do. I volunteer for a domestic violence shelter for women. I have two teenagers and have a pretty busy life.

I am looking forward to competing in this sport and plant o two shows this fall.
